STUDIO RULES
-Client must provide a refundable damage deposit of $500 ( credit card or e-transfer) -Alcohol consumption must be moderate -NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the studio. -NO cooking allowed (any catering and food must be delivered already cooked and only the microwave can be used to warm food) -NO sparks or flammable objects. -NO glitter or confetti -NO Candle wax dripped on floor, furniture or other surfaces -NO nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls (inluding faux living wall) -All activity must be contained within the unit; no activity permitted in the hallways -Rescheduling your booking is only allowed within 14 days prior to your booking date CLEANING / DAMAGES although we charge a cleaning fee, we appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and tear down time in your booking hours.
CANCELATION POLICY
full refund within 48 hours of payment. 50% refund within 28 days of payment No refunds after 28 days of payment No refunds when the event check-in is in 7 days or less -Cancelations related to provincial lockdowns/closures due to Covid-19 Public Health Measures receive full money back at anytime. -Cancelations regarding a guest not being able to attend his/her booking due to contracting covid-19 are not entitled to any refunds. RESCHEDULE: -Rescheduling your booking is allowed within 14 days prior to booking date. - Rescheduling is free of charge the first time, when rescheduling a second time a $50 fee applies.
ACESSIBILITY/ELEVATOR
Although we do our best to accommodate all clients, we are not situated in a fully accessible building. We are on the 4th floor of a building that has manually operated elevator access and regular sized washroom stalls that aren't accessible to people on wheelchairs or walkers. Elevator service is available, during business hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. For weekends and after 5pm we must hire the operator, who charges $20/hr. If you don’t need the elevator guests can take the stairs to the 4th floor. Please note the elevator is not a service provided by Canarts Media but a third party (the landlord’s employee) therefore Canarts Media can’t guarantee elevator service off business hours, nor is our studio rental service conditional on the elevator service being provided.
